Mancat Monday

My fellow cats, we have an emergency on our hands!  We have a third introoder!  A big siamese.  I am beyond words!  Outraged!  They are coming in from the side of the patio, walking around and sniffing the bird feeder, and going to hang out under a bush.

Look at how angry I am!

And to top off the outrage, I got in trouble for trying to defend our home!  Mom went outside to feed the birds, and I ran outside.  I went straight under the bush and wouldn't come out when she called!  Finally I came out when I was ready.  She said she was worried I would run away!  Doesn't she understand that I was just checking under the bush for introoders?  That's where they hang out!  She said that if I keep running outside like that, she's going to make me wear a collar.  Man, I HATE collars.  I am so misunderstood.

We don't blame you for not being a sweet torbie girl when introoders are around!

WE have introoders in our backyard too and they are not birdies. They are outdoor cats and Mama feeds them. And she named one of them too. I growl when I see them, but Mama tells me I have to share my blessing to all God's creatures, esp those who are hungry. But I say Buster hungry too :)

Just be careful, Kit! You know those alien cats are just looking to eat your birds. What if they gang up on you??

A collar? Dear cod. How demeaning. Maybe your mom should make the introoders wear the collar. Ha ha. That would teach them.

Wow! That's a great "angry" look! You should go into acting. Mine sucks... mommy giggles when I make my "angry" face....

Well, we do NOT blame you at all for wanting ta protect yer birdie feeder from the introoders, Kit! We do so ourselfs. And we think ya have an AWESOME angry look!!!

But we do think ya should be careful. Introoder kitties can be strong an MEAN. We normally go outside in at least twosomes and usally with TBT out with us. An we have collars an chips in case a fight ensues an we get away from home a bit in the heat of things.

So mebbe start wearin a collar an get a ID chip fer starters. An practice yer defensive moves a lot...

you have "introoders" coming out of the woodwork! What is a poor kitty to do???

I understand both your Mom's and your point of view. Your Mom just wants you to be safe and you want to protect your territory...but I think listening to Mom comes first!

How scary to have introoders - but even more scary to think you ran outside!! You're braver than us!!

Have a great night!

ps. To answer your question about our photo, we lasted about half a heartbeat after our Mom finished snapping the picture!

We all wear collars with ID tags 'cause Mom is paranoid about us getting out.

Keep a close eye on those introoders!

Oh darling! This is all so upsetting for you. Shall I come over and soothe your troubled brow?

Kit the introoders are multiplying keep a watch out for them, but do it safely. Worried Mom's are no fun.

Aw man, Athena, you really are totally misunderstood! If your human doesn't want you running out the door, she should discourage those intruders from coming around!! Not punish you with dumb collars because of it.

You really need to listen to your Mom, there could be trouble brewing out there sweetie!

Good job of checking for introoders, Athena, but our mama would be the same way if any of us got outside.
