Surprise! We live in an apartment and we don't haf a garden! We haf a patio. But my mama put out this bird feeder so we could watch birdy TV and the birdies and the squirrels spilled the bird seed and now stuff is growing! Ha ha! We don't know what it is.

It is still nice to see green Your Mommy could let the plants go to seed and then collect it and she won't have to buy more for the bird TV (just kidding)

We think being able to watch bird TV is cool in and of itself! And from the amount of seed there, that's a lot of bird TV! :-D

I'm with Sparkle. More than likely it's grass...let me clarify that....lawn grass...don't want any NARCs knocking on my door lol

Athena, it's nice that you have a bit of green there and most importantly the Bird TV! Enjoy! Maybe your mom can get you some pot plants...er... we mean potted plants (no narcs for us either, mol!) or a nip plant (!!) for your patio-not-a-garden :).

Ha ha ha ha! That used to happen to us a lot too! Some of it my mom let grow real big and it went to seed! She thought the birdies would like that but they were not impressed.
All that seed should get you some good bird tv, Athena!! And that green stuff is probably grass. That happens under our bird feeder too.
I don't know what it is either, but if the birds and squirrels spread it around it will make a pretty patch of lawn.
It should grow BIRDS!
It's funny how stuff grows from bird seed! One year, we had a gorgeous sunflower!
