caturday

I haf something embarrassing to admit.  I am not a hunter!  Last night there was a dying fly in our apartment.  I tracked him just fine, it was fun to chase him.  But when he set down on the couch, I just sat there and looked at him.  Mama knocked him to the floor for me, and he just crawled around a little, and I put my paw on him a couple of times, but that's all I did.  Then I just sat back and watched as he died.  I didn't efun eat him!  What can I say, I just am not interested in eating a bug.  I'm a little embarrassed to admit this acause so many of you are mighty hunters!  But, I am who I am.

That's ok, Athena. We hunt some stuff but we do have our limits. Some of the big hairy bugs (the ones that mom especially wants us to kill ;-/) we won't touch! Have a fun weekend!

And it's just fine to be who you are! Who wants to eat a bug when there are much better foods out there?!

We are not all mighty hunters. Those of us who are, are. Those of us who aren't aren't.

A time for Hunters and time for those who don't.
A time for happy indoor kitties, a time for those who aren't.
A time to tap at flies and a time to eat them.
A time to watch the birds, a time to catch them.
And to evry kitty, there is a time to choose.

All is well and all choices are good...

To be honest, Athena, dying flies are kind of boring. I like them fully alive and lively - then they are more of a challenge! It makes them taste better too.

It's totally OK, Athena! Some of us here are bloodthirsty hunters, and others, well, we wouldn't hurt a fly.

I reckon there are many man-cats that would catch bugs for you, all you'd need to do is bat your eyes!

I never eat the bugs that I play with. Athena there is no reason for you to be a hunter ifin you do not want to with a steady supply of food.

Miss Athena, It's totally normal !!!
I love to play with bugs for a while and if they can't handle my paws..Tough luck ! I just leave it for mom. Just incase she need a snack ; )

I only eat just the big one, Like moth or baby prey mantis. I don't do fly too. It's yakk ! and I don't do hard shell bugs.

Hell Beautiful! Here's the thing: If your mommy was mean and didn't feed you your good foodz, you can bet you'd be eating that fly. But you have become accustomed to much tastier and aromatic noms, and so have no need to eat....well, bugs. No shame in THAT!
