caturday -- UPDATED

Good morning!

We hadded a HUGE rainstorm yesterday!  Mama was out buying food for us and she gotted soaked!  See what I do for you two, she said, but I think that's just what she should be doing!  When she comed home she opened the window so we could get window whiffies of the rain.

In this picture, you can see where my furs didn't grow back after my ladygardenectomy.  Did this happen to any ofur cat?  I hate my bald spot!  Kit's furs are already growing back from where they shaved him for his ultrasound.

UPDATED -- it was six and a half years ago!

Shelly here, Athena.......a few months ago I had a ladygardenectomy and had one of those bald spots, too....and my furs finally grew back and I'm confident yours will too, sweet Athena.

Love from me, my brofurs and our mama.

Tama-Chan was shaved twice within a year, first for a Caesarian, then for her spay surgry, and her fur has grown back beautifully. Sei-Chan was shaved just once, for her surgery, and it's still a little sparse over that area. The surgery was back in October.

I don't have a bald spot either. I wonder why yours didn't grow back?

I've heard that happens with human's eyebrows sometimes, if they shave them off! My fur grew back after my spay, although I do have a patch that's lighter than the rest of my fur.

We had rain early afternoon just after mummy had put the washing out. I had to come in humph. Hope your rains have gone now, at least your food comes in waterproof packaging hee he. My furs took a while to grow back after they were stolen from my ladygardenectomy but they did grow eventually. Perhaps we could all donate some furs and you could have a multi-coloured furwig made :)xx

Athena I had my ladygardectomy around the same time as you and my furs grew back. Do not feel bad about the bald spot since it shows your pretty pink tummy. This makes you unique and extra cute.

Hi Athena! You are a very pretty lady kitty, so don't you worry. But, just so you'll know... Pungy, when she had her surgery, her furs grew back pretty soon. But for Miss Duchess, she was a lot older when she had her surgery. Most of hers have grown back over the years. But she does still have some bald spots. We think it had more to do with her age when she had the surgery, maybe. Either way, do not worry. You are beautiful every day!

You have your mom trained very well to go out in the rain to make sure you and Kit have your foods. My mom went to the grocery store at 4:30 in the morning one time because she just couldn't face us at breakfast time if we didn't get our favorite flavor of Stinky Goodness. Your mom is very sweet to let you get window whiffies of rain smells. We always beg our mom to open the door a little bit so we can sniff the outside smells while it is raining.

We've never seen furs not grow back like that, Athena. But we wouldn't worry about it. We think your bald spot is cute and makes you extra special!

I find your pretty pinkie skin quite enticing, Athena. I wonder if your ever need your furry and furless tummy groomed by an admiring ManCat???

Hmmm! We thinks your tummy is very pretty just as it is!

Three of us here had that surgery... and that didn't happen... but spooky has a small bald spot where she lost fur from some flea medication... She has had it for years too. The humans don't use the flea stuff on her now.
