We got the postcard from the v-e-t that it's time for my senior physical and my rabies shot. I don't want to go! I have been to the v-e-t so much lately.
Here I am up on the sink, helping mom do the dishes. I help her a lot in the kitchen. Once or twice I've even dragged my tail through the saucepan! You may think, from the look on my face in this picture, that I am in a bad mood. Not so! I was actually purring when this picture was taken. That's just the way I look a lot of the time. In reality, I am a very happy cat. Except when I have to go to the v-e-t!

I don't blame you at all, but I have to go back for a booster shot, yuck! We've got time to hide!!!
We think you've been tortured enough, frankly. Maybe you can pass on that vaccine, unless you require it by law to be outside. Needles = ouch!
Kit it is understandable to not want to go especially since you went enough to rack up some frequent V-E-T miles. A visit is no fun through if you bring a favorite toy or blanket it does make the process easier.
I don't blame you. I hope this is an easy visit when you go!
nobody likes going to the vet. buster cries like a baby when he goes.

Kit, how unfair! Somehow we think you should be exempt from your checkup but these things are important and hopefully it will all be a snap for you! We thought maybe your expression in the photo was because you had just read the appointment card :-D

Aw, Kit. I think you should get to have a little vet vacation, at least for a few more weeks. Promise your Mom you'll help with the dishes EVERY night if you can have a couple weeks' reprieve.
Vet trips should be banned for cats who do dishes!
