Good morning! Here are my toesies, lined up on mama's arm!
You can see my one buff toe in the back there. My toepads are black acept for the buff one, that is pink.
Mama asplained to me why she is so worried about Kit and keeps taking him to the v-e-t for more tests and keeps talking to the online v-e-t. It's acause of the cat who came before me. She was Kit's littermate and she was a beautiful polydactyl girl named Boo. She had huge thumbs! One day, three months before Boo's second birthday, the v-e-t founded a heart murmur. He dided an ultrasound and saided that Boo had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. They putted her on medicine but she just got sicker and sicker until one night in the middle of the night she couldn't breathe. Mama rushed her to the emergency v-e-t and they tried to help her but they couldn't. They told mama she was suffering and it was time to help Boo to the Bridge. It broked Mama's heart to say goodbye before Boo efun turned two years old. Efur since then, she just is so worried about our health. So I guess I can understand why she is so worried about Kit, and I will not hold it against her.

You have lovely toes, Athena.
We're glad your Mom explained things properly to you. #1 says she understands so well. She lost two young boy cats in two years, one at 18 months and the other at 15 months, both to FeLV. It was so, so hard. Our humans work so hard to keep us safe and well, and we are grateful.
Purrs,
The Chans
Its always so very sad when very young kitties have to go to the bridge waaaay before their time. Its always best to be safe and get efurrything checked out. Soonest found, soonest mended :)xx
At least now you understand why Mom worries so much. It is very helpful when someone takes the time to explain things to us, we really like knowing. Purrs to sweet Kit.
You have very sweet little toes Athena!

It is easy for humans to worry about us when they don't need to. We are purring for both your Momma and for Kit.
Our humans are always about us, whether we are eating enough or too much. That's why we love our humans. They love us too much.
Purrs from Emma and Buster.
Every time I think my human might be worrying too much, it turns out she has a reason! Purrs to your human - even if she seems overconcerned, at least you know that you and Kit are being well taken care of.
Those toesies drive my mom wild! She is crazy bout lil cat feet! Continued purrs for Kit. Hoping all is well.

That would make anyone paranoid. You two cats keep healthy, OK?
Ohhh Athena! Please give your Mom huge ((((hugs)))) from us. That was much to young to lose your Mom's dear Boo. We are so sorry. That is good that you understand now why your Mom is so concerned. It is because she loves you both so much! She doesn't want to lose you!
xoxoxo
You have cute toesies, Athena. We are sorry to hear about Boo...we hope Kit will be okay.
Cute toeies!
We sympathize with your mom. It's hard to lose furries, whether they be old or young.
Nothin we can do but offer purrs of comfort! We had a Boo, an she only lived 2 years too. She was rescued from a gas station where she was tossed out of a car. We found her a good home but she got outside an had a accident. But she had a great year with a loving fambly... Sometimes that is all ya can ask for.
Purrs, purrs, purrs....
