Hi kitties -- Athena here. I'm sorry Kit and I haven't been blogging or visiting -- mama has been in the hospital! She is still there. Her appendix burst and she gotted peritonitis. She was furry sick but she is getting better. She will probably come home in a few days. We miss her! We haf bisitors twice a day acause Kit needs his medicine treat. Grandma comes at night and the pet sitter comes in the morning. We are doing okay, but we miss mama and we miss all of you! I heard grandma on the phone wif the v-e-t -- if mama is not home by Saturday morning, grandma will take us in for our yearly visit. I hope to talk to you more soon!

I am glad you checked in! I'm sending your human lots of purrs to heal up quickly! She is lucky she lives in the 21st century - peritonitis killed people often nearly 100 years ago! It killed Rudolph Valentino, one of silent film's biggest stars in the 1920s!

Athena and Kit I am so so sorry that your mommy has such a big sickie. Poor mommy but as another kitty said thank goodness for modern medicine.

Athena, luckily, TBT had this once (well, OK, he says ya dont have it MORE than once). It was his 1st Chrissymouse away from home an everybein had the flu. He thought it was that. It wasn't.
But he got helped, an got better, an "better" seems pretty certain with that. So we know yer Momma will be fine. An we bet she wold rather see you than almost annyone...
