To me, Brian is a big inspiration -- he does so much for so many cats. I am supposed to link to an inspirational post, but I haven't been blogging that long and I don't know what to post. I'm going to turn it ofur to mama.
Hi kitties -- it's the mama. This was easy for me. This week saw the end of the Don't ask, don't tell policy in the military. As the loving sister of a gay woman, I know a bit about how hard it can be to be a gay person in America. To think of all the people who served our country under this policy is very inspirational to me. I am so proud of them. Whatever your stand is on this policy, I hope you can join me in being proud of all the brave men and women in uniform who protect us every day.

TBT here: I have had some doubts over the years about the logic of homosexuality in evolutionary terms. And I still do have evolutionary questions about the value of it. But two of the people I respect greatly are Rachel Maddow and Barney Frank.
