Hi fellow cats -- Kit here. A few weeks ago I shared with you my love for a particular purple fevver-butt mousie. Well, my love for said mousie has only grown stronger and it is making my mom exhibit some funny behavior! Every night before we go to bed, she searches for the mousie. She says she wants to make sure it doesn't get lost. I get a kick out of watching her search high and low looking to figure out where I left it! Her compulsive behavior did pay off for me today, though. When she came home from work I met her at the door, like I always do. This time, however, I tried to alert her to a problem -- mousie was missing! We searched the house together, over and over again, but we couldn't find him! Finally she looked in the right place -- my enthusiastic playing had gotten mousie wedged between the couch and the newspaper basket. We found him! Thank Cod. I was worried!

Whew! We were worried too! Mousies (and fuzzy pipe cleaner "snakes") have a way of disappearing in our house, never to be seen again, even when the mom looks high and low, moves furniture. So we're glad YOUR mousie was found!
Wees so glad you finds you mousie..we loosed ouws all da times...Maybe ouw woofie, Winston, hides it from us!!! OMC, wees tinks we have da culprit!
Chloe, Cecil and Winston too!
I am glad she is so good about finding that for you!
MOL! Toys have a way of disappearing on me too! Sometimes the human will go for weeks without finding a toy that I had hidden.
ahhhh we kitties are great at making our Moms go to amazing lengths to find our mousies!
You have trained your mom very well to take such good care of your purple fevver-butt mousie.
P.S.
Our word verification was "hammi"...yum!
That mousie is a great human training tool!
Whew! I'm glad your mom was able to help!
Mommys are the bestest finders! Ours is always finding the things me, Kozmo, the hairy slobbery sisters and My Daddy lose.
Kisses
Nellie
Kit, send your Mom over, my red spotted mousie is missing!
Yr Forlorn Pal, Sylvester
My Human dropped a big frozen shrimpie yesterday and it bounced under the gazillion-year-old gas stove. She used a yardstick but she can't seem to find it or get it out. Two things: She did find some REALLY grody old toys from, like, four cats ago, and I think in a few days that shrimpie is really gonna stink up the place.
Can you send your Mom over do you think?
We are glad ya got yer mousie back! We send TBT on mousie hunts here evry few days. When our shoebox of mousies is gettin low, he goes around the house getting them back in the box from unner chairs and stuff. Actally, WE know where most of them are, but it is fun watchin him go find them. It keeps him entertained an thats the important thing...
