in the bag

grumble.  there I was, haffing a nice nap in my mama's shopping bag.

When, outta nowhere, my brofur comes up and throws me out so he can sleep there!

Kit always does that.  He waits till I gets all comfy and my spot gets all warm and cozy and then he throws me out.  It's not fair!  I showed him this time, though.  I went and cuddled up with mama.  Hah!

royal wedding!

oh boy!

Here I am, getting ready to go to bed early so I can get up early to watch the royal wedding!  I am acited to watch William and Catherine say I do.  Does anyone know if they have a cat?  They look so nice, I'm sure they must.  Tomorrow we are having strawberries and cream for breakfast!  Actually I already got some of the cream!  Enjoy the wedding effurybody!

ah, nip.  how I love you!  I love you dried, when my mama sprinkles you on the rug.  I love you alive, when I can chomp on you like I'm doing in this picture.  I love you when you're stuffed in toys.  I even love the cabinet where mama keeps you.  I love everything about you.  I just can't get enough!

Mancat Monday

Hi folks -- Kit here.  I've been having a lot of fun over the past few days!  Mom went to Hole Foods and she got this paper bag.  She took all the food out and she put the bag on the floor for us to play in!  First she took the handles off so we wouldn't get our heads stuck.  That happened to Athena once.  It was pretty funny.  First, I hid in the bag and Athena tried to get me.  Then, she got in the bag and I let her pretend to hide.  Then I kicked her out of the bag and I got back in.  I do that a lot -- she gets all settled in somewhere and I kick her out.  It's nothing personal -- I'm just showing her who's boss.  She's a cute kid, but I'm the man cat around here.  All right, I'm going to go back in my bag now.  Athena better  not be in there.

The Easter Bunny comed!

I's so acited!  He broughted nip and Temptations and bouncy balls and mouseys!  And some stuff for my mama too.  Mama said he comed in the middle of the night.  I tried to stay up but I falled asleep.  I wish I could have seed him!  I hope all my new friends are having a good Easter!

Hi kids.  Kit here.  Good to meet you!  Athena thinks she's "letting" me post on her blog.  The kid is cute.  I do what I want around here.  I know I look kind of crabby in my picture, but I always look that way.  I'm really a nice guy.  I'm a 9 year old tabby cat.  I was adopted by my mom when I was just a couple of months old.  The pound told her I was a girl!  That was not great for my self-esteem, let me tell you.  Not that there's anything wrong with being a girl, don't get me wrong -- I love the ladies -- but I'm all man.  Mrow!

aciting day!

Here is a picture of my brofur hugging me!  He doesn't do this very much so I was very happy.  Today was an aciting day!  My mama got us a bird feeder!  Now more birdies will be on our bird TV channel.  I can't wait.  When mama was putting the bird feeder outside Kit gotted out!  We is not allowed to go outside!  He was very bad.  He didn't go far though.  He looked so surprised to be outside!  Mama scooped him right up and brought him back inside.  He didn't even get grounded!  Later mama had dinner and I got to lick the plate!  It was a great day!  I hope your day was as good as mine!  xoxo

here is my first post!

Hi!  here is my first post!  I am so acited to finally have a blog.  My name is Athena and I am 7 years old.  I am a torbie cat.  I live with my mama and my brofur in Mary-land and we are a very happy family.  I am the happiest one in the house.  My mama calls me sweet girl and little bit.  My brofur calls me stinker.  He is older than I am but I am bigger than he is.  He is stronger than I am though.  His name is Kit.  I may let him post here some times if he is nice.  He is usually pretty nice to me.  My favorite toys to play with are bouncy balls and my fish on a string!  I love to chase the balls and the fishy.  I also really love nip, I mean I really love it.  My mama says I have a problem.  I don't know what that means.  My favorite snack is Temptations.  I eat mine all up and I eat Kit's too.
